A few images for inspiration...
ORANGE. THE perfect 60s orange. and then just when you re fainting, ivory scallops. aaahh beautiful.
Below a crochet top I have been working on for a long time, made in linen. Feels very precious...
Lovely drape and weight. it was meant to be a summer top but I love it so much I will extend its life by wearing it this winter over plain colred tops and dresses.
Slowly becoming quite profficient and quick with le crochet hook... if I may say so myself
Currently working on:
- Sewing a dress in denim and floral corduroy from this vintage pattern for a northern soul night of dancing and drinking with friends:
-Sewing a yellow silk dress, yes! from a 60s pattern, with a white Pierrot collar. I want to copy this one, that I found on A little market:
I seriously LOVE pierrot collars. Already noticed a suitable yellow paisley silk on Ebay that would be perfect, and comes from Vietnam. The dress pictured here is made in satin and looks a bit too shiny/cheap. The silk found on Ebay is about 20£ for 3 yards so would you hesitate?
Next a mod sweater from this vintage crochet pattern:
Easy v-stitch and size 5 hook, another project to add to my 4 other unfinished crochet jumpers then. I am very good at starting projects! finishing them is another story, but this blog is a good motivator.
A bientot! Lo x
